Happy Pride!

We’ve spoken before about Shell Greenwashing itself to pretend that they aren’t directly benefiting from climate damaging practices. So it comes as no surprise that they are also engaged in ‘Rainbow-washing’.

The history of Pride is one of resistance, rejection of discrimination, radical politics and, well, pride. It was born out of courage in the face of police violence, institutional bigotry and intolerance.

Pride is not a commodity to be sold, or to be used to ‘rainbow-wash’ for social credit. As polluters who are threatening life on Earth regardless of sexuality, the only place for oil giants and big corporations in this conversation is on the stand or on the gallows.

Discrimination based on sexuality is also a totally made-up human thing, animals don’t care - and neither should you. In fact the Box Crab has been observed in same sex activity, with male crabs having sex continuously for up to 18 days.
