How to find us:

The museum is located in the heart of Margate Old Town, situated just above the Pie Factory Gallery.

Travelling by train:

The closest train station is Margate. Upon arrival, follow the coastline to the right and into the Old Town.

Travelling by car:

There is limited paid parking on the street outside Crab Museum, but there are local free parking facilities within walking distance.

Accessibility:

Access to Crab Museum is via a flight of stairs with a handrail. Unfortunately we cannot currently offer wheelchair access, though we hope to soon.

Groups and school visits are welcome. For school visits please get in contact and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

Admission to Crab Museum is free.
Specific events and performances may be ticketed.

Shop and cafe:

At the gift shop, you'll find a variety of crab-themed trinkets, souvenirs, and educational zines.
The Crab Cafe serves a range of beverages including soft drinks, and alcoholic options.
