Crab Museum is on the hunt for the World’s Funniest grunt!

Fighting stigma one stinker at a time! 

Could you have the funniest fart in the entire world? We want the public to send in voice note recordings of their very own farts, which will be judged by a hand-picked panel of comedians, medical professionals, scientists and school children. 

Final submissions will be on the 1st of June!

The 2025 Funniest Fart champion will be crowned at a special, star-studded event at the Crab Museum on Saturday 14th June. You could be sitting on a winner!

Butt why?

All humans fart - and many other animals do too. Farting is natural, scientifically interesting and... funny. We want to destigmatize farting, and advocate for a more mature relationship with this most puerile bodily function.

Rates of colorectal cancer are increasing around the world, especially among younger people. Being embarrassed, ashamed or grossed out by farts will not help us deal with this looming global problem. Instead, we want to celebrate farts and give them their moment in the spotlight.
